
Allegheny County MitigationOn August 28, Allegheny County officials updated the July 17 order to allow for outdoor events of up to 100 people. All other requirements of the July 17 order remain the same.
READ AUGUST 28 ORDER UPDATE On July 17, Allegheny County officials rescinded the July 8 order to bring the county into better alignment with the state's July 15 order that issued greater restrictions on restaurant operations. While the new order mostly aligns with the state's July 15 order, there are a few notable differences:
Allegheny County officials announced on July 8, that effective July 10 - July 24, restaurant may resume outdoor dining until 11 p.m. The new order also imposes a 3 drink limit per customer and allows indoor events of up to 25 people and outdoor events of up to 50 people. READ ORDER Allegheny County officials announced on July 2 that, effective immediately, additional mitigation efforts were being taken to stem the spread of COVID-19, which included shutting down restaurants, bars, casinos for in-person operation and cancelled all events over 25 people. MORE INFO Allegheny County officials announced on June 28 that, effective immediately, the sale of alcohol for on-premise consumption was prohibited.
