Occupational Safety & Health Administration

The awareness of OSHA regulatory compliance is often misunderstood, misinterpreted or ignored. Awareness begins with information. Use the tools below to ensure you are compliant with OSHA regulations in your business.

The Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) was revised last year to require pictograms on labels to alert users to the chemical hazards to which they may be exposed. HCS is one of the most frequently cited violations for the hospitality industry. The pictograms must be implemented by June 1, 2015. OSHA's Hazard Communication website has Quick Cards and OSHA Briefs to assist employers with training their staff.
