ServSafe® Food Safety Training Program

Food safety training is a commitment, a mindset and a smart business practice for every restaurant and foodservice operation in the hospitality industry. Food safety training doesn't end once you earn your certification; it's the beginning. Implementing food safety practices on a daily basis and ensuring every person in your operation meet today's food safety demands are essential ingredients in every meal. ServSafe® provides the resources to help keep food safety a top priority for you and your guests.

ServSafe® Manager's Food Safety Certificate is approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture. Visit the ServSafe Class Calendar for the schedule of upcoming classes and exams. Or, download a PDF of the current class schedule below.

ServSafe® Food Handler is an online class that provides a basic overview of five key areas of food safety. While this class does not meet Department of Agriculture certification requirements, it is a great tool for training new employees, like servers and line cooks on the basics of food safety.

Are you prepared to serve guests who have food allergies? If not, then ServSafe Allergens is the class for you. It reviews the common food allergens and helps train you and your staff on what to do before an emergency arises.
