At Hoss’s, we hire managers from many backgrounds and experience levels. Basic preferences include a degree in hospitality management, an associated management degree with restaurant experience, or one-year previous full-service restaurant management experience.
Development and advancement is directly related to your ambition, drive, desire, and most importantly your ability to get results. Based on performance, flexibility, and available positions, a promotion to General Manager could occur within 12-24 months.
As a manager, you will be responsible for total property accountability. You must develop management skills to the point that you can directly increase volume and profits in the store through excellent shift management.
Hoss’s Steak and Sea House provides management training through our Restaurants and Corporate Operations Learning and Development Department. One of the primary responsibilities of the Learning and Development Department is to develop Hoss’s management personnel. As a team, they strive to help each member of the Hoss family establish a personal plan for development and guide managers in the direction that will lead to their success.
